NETLab On-boarding

ERPC Cyber Range Access

We will be using an online lab system to host the Cyber Range.  The name of the system is called NetLab. NetLab is a remote access solution that lets students complete labs anywhere, and anytime. There are some steps that you need to complete before connecting to our online labs.  You must be connected to the ECU VPN to complete your Netlab assignments. The steps to connecting to the online labs system are:

Step 1. Download & Install the East Carolina University VPN Client

Step 2. Connect to the East Carolina University VPN

Step 3. Connect to the Netlab system

After logging into the ECU VPN, go to https://netlab-ct.cet.ecu.edu/

Logon to Netlab system using the Netlab credentials supplied to you by your instructor (NetLAB requires no purchase, it is hosted by East Carolina University)

Once logged on, select your class from the list of available classes

After selecting your class, click the +New Lab Reservation menu, and choose Schedule Lab for Myself

On the Lab Selection Screen, find the lab you wish to schedule, click the drop-down arrow, and then choose Schedule Lab

Use the Pod Scheduler to find equipment that you may reserve to complete your assignment. Be aware that there may be more equipment available, if you click on the next page arrow >

Next, use the Add Reservation page to select a start time and an end time for your equipment reservation.  Click the Submit Button

When your scheduled Lab Reservation time approaches an Enter Lab button will appear.  Click the Enter Lab button to connect to your equipment.
