ERPC Remote Access On-Boarding

Remote Access Connection Guide

Welcome to the Eastern Region Pharma Center Remote Access On-boarding page. Access to the Sartorius Biostat B Twin bioreactors, FESTO Equipment and Cyber Range is provided via a VPN connection. Special software is required to connect to our systems remotely.

Equipment Access:

The laboratory can be accessed in person on campus or remotely via the ERPC Remote Access VPN. The remote Access VPN will allow you to connect remotely to the various ERPC resources. The ERPC Bioreactor VPN is an encrypted, virtual tunnel between off-campus devices and on-campus resources. Connecting to East Carolina University (ECU) through a VPN prevents data theft between the server and your off-campus device.

Note that you can only connect to ECU resources for which you have been given access.

To get started with the EPRC Bioreactor use the following guide.

Step 1. Tell us about yourself

  1. If you are on an ECU Managed computer go to Step 3.
  2. For non-ECU managed computers, open a browser and go to https://erpc-lab.ecu.edu.
  3. On the logon form choose either ECU User -or- ERPC guest
    1. If you have a Pirate ID (Email), choose ECU User.
    1. If you don’t have a pirate ID choose ERPC guest.
  4. Verify your identity using your provided authentication details.
    1. For ECU Students and Faculty, this would be your Pirate ID.
    1. For guests, this would be the credentials you were sent via your personal email account.
